Canadian Tire launched new loyalty program in nova scotia



 

Canadian Tire is testing new loyalty program in Nova Scotia. The company thing it’s a upgrading to its existing loyalty program. With this new launch company is giving customer option to collect point electronically. This new card provide customer 1 percent on its purchase where the paper money provide only 0.4 percent.
 
This new loyalty program will be on test in 21 different stores and eight gas stations in Nova Scotia and if this program is accepted by the customer than it will be available in all the province of Canada.

The new program is an effort to increase the sale at the Canadian retailer, which is seeing increased completion from U.S. retailers such as Wal-Mart and new company Target which is launch in Canada in March 2013.

Canadian Tire is founded in 1922, in 1990 business analyst wrote off Canadian Tire, calling it the retailer that was going to die. In 1994 the company imported of Stephen Backhand from United States and aggressively remodelled its stores. As in this competitor market many companies are sold to United States owner but Canadian tire is still surviving in this market. In order to remain competitor Canadian tire is staying touch with their customers by responding to their all concern.
Canadian Tire is an example of an organisation whole faced a near death experience, because of the increasing competition from huge United States companies like home depot, Wal-Mart. It is tough for Canadian tire to survive, but due to good management it still delivers. Canadian Tire survival  and success is no accident, it undertook a series of corporate- wide changes that positioned the Toronto based retailer for profitability. Canadian Tire advertises also respond to its market eliminating “ted and Gloria” campaign with the dad who loved all gadgets. They replace it with the campaign with increasing focus on women customer
There are over 475 Canadian Tire stores across the country , offering a selection of national and retailer brands through three stores under one roof automotive parts ,accessories and service, sports and leisure and home product Canadian tire continuous to reward their loyal customer by actual paper money with which you can buy anything from any Canadian tire stores.
Canadian tire is focusing on increase selection, family friendly atmosphere where the launch two new concepts Smart store and small store for the community less than 8000 people. Despite the variety of service in which the community is involved, effective and clear community between the head off e and Canadian tire dealer’s.

Canadian Tire plans new stores

Canadian Tire plan is planning new stores, they planned to spend over $2.7 billion over five years on new store, banking services and technology to boost its business. The move come from entrance of new competition from us home improvement corporation retailer, Lowe’s Corp, prepares to open its first Canadian store in December.
Canadian tire also wants to improve its productivity of stores and make Canadian tire bigger and better place to shop. Canadian Tire has so far thrived despite the arrival of larger U.S, including Wal-Mart Stores corp. and home depot Inc. in the past 12 years. The companies also planning to open 60 to 70 new stores a years, boosting the sizes of its 1100 stores network by 5 percent.
The new store will have various full size mart of clothing, leisure and housewares store. The company says Canadian Tire is door to the networking of five different related stores:
1. Clothing store

2. Main store

3. Gas bars

4. Automotive specialty shops

5. Financial services

The company say its after-tax return on invested capital it exceed 10 percent over the forecast period. Company wants to concentrate mainly on women clothes and wants to boost the appearance of women clothing . These all strategies and plans for next five year will keep Canadian tire in competition with MNC.S.

Canadian Tire to offer groceries

Canadian tire is usually known for is hockey sticks and brake pads know they want to experiment in changing their store to smart stores. In his store Canadian tire wants to sell variety food and grocery staples, such as bread, milk, and eggs as well as an increased selection of products.
Canadian tire doing this experiment to increase the customer traffic into the stores, more or less it will be comfortable for the customer to buy bread and eggs or cold drinks from the same store or to go special some other store for this basis stuff. They want to start their test in Niagara region city of welland and other Ottawa suburb of Orleans.
Shoppers Drug Mart has described has also experimented with keeping food products and they experienced the biggest success of any kind of product label we have" and Wal-Mart – which has long sold some grocery items – now includes fresh produce among its food offerings at some stores. It remains to see whether Canadian tire new project will hurt traditional grocery store and what will be their reactions.
Canadian tire ionic know for selling a range of sporting and outdoors gods, small household appliances, gardening products, automotive parts and footwear. but these new stores will increase the product availability and the looks of the Canadian store.
